A Bit O' Hex is more than a simple comparison tool between binary, decimal, and hexadecimal numbers. It does that and much, much more. With A Bit O' Hex you can see the numeric result from applying a bit mask to a variable. Use all the bitwise operators: and, or, xor, not.

You can also see what happens when you shift bits in either the original variable or in the mask. Shift bits left or right. Furthermore, you can specify how many bits to shift. Any change you make to the original variable or to the mask is instantly shown in all three bases including in the result. Individual bits can be turned on or off with the click of a mouse.
