We have rented Byron's floors for our dance competition for a number of years, and have always been very satisfied with the results. We host top ranked ballroom dancers from all over the world, and receive numerous compliments regarding
the look and feel of the dance floor.
In my experience, the floor: #1 has a good "slide factor" (slippery enough to spin without stressing your knees, but with enough grip not to slip in dance shoes) #2 is very stable and does not shift to leave cracks between panels; #3 moves less
than other portable floors when laid over carpet; #4 does not leave marks when laid over theatre stage flooring; #5 can have pieces re-cut to fit odd shaped spaces; and #6 looks great.
Aside from the quality of the floor, we have always had great service from Byron. He is helpful and accommodating, as has bailed us out of a jam on more than one occasion. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email or call me at

I have known Mr. Starr for over 30 years and during that time span have seen him develop personally and professionally, take on increased responsibilities with work and family to celebrate the joyous events and to handle the disappointments in
an upbeat and positive way.
Without hesitating, I state that he is a model citizen, one who has positively contributed to his employer, his employees, his friends, his family and his community. Mr. Starr is a caring human being who puts others ahead of himself and has a very high level of ethics and moral standards. In particular he is devoted to his children and his parents. As an individual who has had the opportunity to work closely with many individuals over the past 30 years, it is easy for me to state that Mr. Starr is a leader in so many ways that both young and old can gain an insight into the best way to benefit themselves as they establish or reflect on appropriate standards of behavior, responsibility and accountability.
